There are several types of bait with different textures and compositions. Learning to differentiate between them and use them appropriately will help you maximize your catch. Here’s some advice about how to bait well and effectively.
BAIT FOR SURFACE FISHING
In the Summer months when the water worms up the fish like to emerge from the deep and feed near the surface. In this case is recommended to bait and fish in mid water or on the surface
Bait regularly and rhythmically using Groundbait mixed with floating components(pellets, grain) and TTX to create a cloud that makes the fish feel secure and comfortable. For maximum efficiency keep the bait on the dry side to ensure that it disperses immediately as it makes contact with the water.
BAIT FOR MID-WATER
Measure your bait carefully (consistency, size, density…) to make sure it works at the right depth: too deep and you won’t get many bites, too shallow and you’ll get fry. Throw in slow sinking soft pellets or/and frozen corn/grain frequently and regularly. You need to find the depth where the fish are.
Mid-water fishing is difficult in terms of technique because disturbed fish are wary: don’t use large pellets which will scare them off. The fish come back after each throw, and that’s when you’ll get your bites.
BOTTOM BAITING
Usually this technique requires a bigger amount of bait with large size sinking particles and strong flavors .It's recommended to refresh the baiting process accordingly to the time between bites.
If the bites are consistent over a short period of time means we have lots of fish and the Baiting needs to be refreshed.
All baiting procedures can be accomplished with Baiting tools (Baiting rackets, Slingshots ,various Feeders).
